fate and a lot of work

Hope everyone's doing okay.
I've had quite a few changes since June and that's why I've not posted in a while.
Life is never what you expect it to be when you're a kid, you know?
For example, in the middle of June, we received notice that the trailer park we lived in was closing down. Also, we had to be out by Sept. 13. Great news yes? yeah right. :P
Anyway, through fate (and the Goddess's blessing) we managed to find a 3 bedroom home in town that would fit my budget. It's a fixer upper and we've had to put a lot of work in it just so we can live here. But, it's a great house with real wood floors, a solid roof, and it's within 10 minutes (or less) of all the boys's schools! So it's all worked out and I've started a new phase of my life. I'm sort of excited as I'll finally be able to plant that garden I've wanted for years.
currently, because we've been spending money on getting the place fixed up, I've not had internet access (I'm currently using an open wireless access to post this O.o) and so I've temporarily cancelled my WoW and Bigfish membership. I've also been using my Amazon Kindle to keep up with things online. And, while it's the bomb, I can't really see the tinny keyboard on it very well, so I've not really used it for much other than lurking.
Aaand, that's the state of me. :D
