How did I miss that Melissa Leo (Emma from Young Riders and Kay Howard on Homicide) was nominated for an Oscar???
I LOVE Melissa! And, while I know it's a long shot, I'd be SOOOO happy if she wins! :D
Also, I've not done my steps the past few days due to my sorta BIL got a new job but its nights and I've had to go pick him up after I get off of work, which means we don't get home until after 10 pm. By the time I eat, it's nearly 11, so I've just not felt up to doing it. Next week should be better as he starts working a different shift and I can go back to doing my steps Tuesday thru Saturday.
Steps: 1100
Steps left to go: 9,975,690
So, I've had my Kindle awhile now and I'm still loving it and highly recommend it to anyone who has the money. My only...I don't want to say issue or complaint, cause it's really not...thing I'm not completely thrilled with is the conversion process for non-mobi files. Esp. PDF files, as it can be quite cumbersome sometimes.
I've been trying to read Twain's "Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court" and, while I know it's a social commentary on his times, I have a hard time getting thru it due to how he portrays King Arthur, Merlin, and the rest of the Court. :P It's actually not hard to read or anything, and there's been even a few funny parts, it's just the characterization with which I have problems. The BBC has a lot to answer for, let me tell you. :P
