Have decided to abandon the Ghostlands for now, as I have a new quest that's taken me to the Undercity and beyond! I think it'll be one that'll give me my succubus minion! Woot!

Have been checking the net and, apparently, as I travel, I'll be able to get flight paths to two cities in the Hillsbrad Foothills and the Arathi Highlands and, hopefully, level up enough to go back and kick troll butt in the Ghostlands. :P

Wish me luck!

So, Tarren Mills? Awesome place to level up at. :D

Lunch today is a bacon and cheese sandwich (it's Bacon Day! here as I have declared every Sunday to be Bacon Day! :P), tater tots, and veggies from a veggie tray. All washed down with some refreshing iced tea.

Btw. does anyone know of good WoW fic?  I really like the world it's set in but I'm not wanting to shill out for the official novels.  It's a truly fascinating world and it makes me wish my writing-fu hadn't died.

OH! Has anyone been to Undercity yet? The art work really captures the desolation and horror that happened there. Fantastic! If a touch depressing.

I joined the [livejournal.com profile] worldofwarcraft comm today and saw the following WoWo Catechism posted by [livejournal.com profile] mephron and it amused me enough that I thought I'd share it with my fellow WoWers:

Blessed are the Tanks, for by holding aggro they keep the rest of us from getting squished.

Blessed are the DPSers, for by attack with weapons and spells they make things fall down.

Blessed are the Healers, for they keep the tanks and DPSers from falling down.

Blessed are the Druids, for they can do many things and yet still have people petting them because they look like cute animals.

Blessed are the Hunters, because they are easy to learn to play (even if they can't tame druids in animal form).

Blessed are the Mages, because OH GOD I'M ON FIRE

Blessed are the Paladins, because, well, they're Paladins and that's their schtick.

Blessed are the Priests, for about the same reason as the Paladins.

Blessed are the Rogues, despite the fact that in PVP they're stunlocking gits. Also, I want my wallet back.

Blessed are the Shamans, for the Tremor Totem.

Blessed are the Warlocks, except probably not, with that whole corruption and demon summoning, and things like that which are kind of anti-blessed.

Blessed are the Warriors, for they are simple folk who know their job: HIT IT! A LOT!!!

Blessed are the Death Knights, for being a class with record numbers of developers not agreeing on what you are supposed to actually BE.

Blessed are the people that read this far and take it in good humor, because it's supposed to be silly.

Seemed to have come down with a case of minor food poisoning or something as I was nauseous and dizzy for a bit this afternoon and ended up laying in bed for a few hours praying. :P

I am almost to level 21, tho. Not bad for last day of vacation. :D

I did make it to Hammerfall then flew back to Tarren Mills and used my hearthstone to go back to Silvermoon City (think distance from New York to Miami but only in a virtual world) because I'm a dork. :P

Now I have to fly back to Tranquillien and then ride my horse all the way back to Tarren Mills. Oy vie!

ETA: Well, I'm a dork. I flew all the way to Tranquillien only to realize I have to use the translocation orb to get to the Undercity to then ride my horse to Tarren Mill and the orb is back in SILVERMOON which I'd just flown from. D'oh!

SUCCESS!!

I did it! I did it! I got my succubus! Her name is Anvina and here we are!

(btw, I am SO glad I had my mount cause there's no WAY I could have completed the quest to get her within a day if I hadn't.)
