Journey to the West (the Walking edition)
Sep. 23rd, 2010 04:19 pmMany, many, MANY moons ago, I started an walking exercise program I called "Journey to the West" (or JTTW-and more info can be found here), which, like many things in my life, I let slide.
Well, I've decided to give it another shot! I need to lose some of this weight but, MOST IMPORTANTLY, I need to be healthier. Daily exercise is one way to do that. So, to summarize the link above, I'm gonna try to walk 1900 miles. Slowly, of course, over many, many days and starting today. You'll see me posting how many steps I walk a day, tho, I'll probably not walk every day. My goal is to walk at least 5 days a week. So wish me luck!
Steps walked today: 500 (approx. 1/4 mile).
Next week's goal: get up to 1000 steps per day
